Exchange Server 5.5 due in November

Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5, code-named "Osmium," will be formally announced next week with the final release expected in November. Major features include a tighter integration with Windows NT, IMAP4 support, LDAPv3 support, S/MIME support, and easier interoperability with legacy e-mail systems. Microsoft is expected to release two editions of Exchange Server 5.5, a Standard Edition and a Professional Edition. Prices have not yet been finalized, but as Exchange Server 5.5 is an interim release, it is expected to be priced accordingly
