CompuServe VP Bruce McNaughton left the struggling CompuServe online service this week, fueling rumors that the company is about to be merged or bough outright. This is the second executive loss in as many weeks. Last week, VP Scott Kauffman threw in the towel to join a company called KlickOver. CompuServe stock jumped 6% in trading today, up from yesterday's close of $11.88.
Today, CompuServe admitted that merger talks were underway but declined to comment on the other party
