Q. I'm trying to set up boot from Virtual Hard Disk (VHD) with my Windows 7 Professional installation, but it's not working. What's wrong?

A. Booting from a VHD, which allows a physical machine to boot from a Windows 7 OS contained in a VHD, is only available in the Enterprise and Ultimate editions of Windows 7. You can't boot from a VHD in other editions.
