Tape drive use with Hyper-V

Q. How can I use a tape drive with a Hyper-V VM?

A. To access tape drives via a Hyper-V VM you either need to connect to the tape drive via iSCSI or use virtual Fibre Channel. You cannot use pass-through from the host for a tape drive.
