Q. How can I get access to a Windows Virtual PC virtual machine (VM) that's booting with Integration Components enabled?

A. When a Windows Virtual PC VM has Integration Components enabled, its boot process isn't shown. Instead, you see the box below and then you're prompted for credentials.

If you want to see the actual OS boot to access the BIOS, access startup recovery, or reinstall, press Shift and Escape during the VM start dialog. The VM will boot with integration features disabled.
