A. VMotion allows you to move a VM between ESX hosts with zero downtime, and this is controlled by the Virtual Center installation. If your virtual center installation is in a VM on an ESX host, the question often comes up whether it can be moved with vMotion. The answer is yes, you can perform a VMotion of a virtual center installation with no problem.
