Q: Is it true Oracle software is now supported on Hyper-V?
A: Yes. On June 24th, a new partnership between Oracle and Microsoft was announced. It brings certification and full support for running Oracle workloads on Hyper-V and Windows Azure.
This makes Hyper-V the first non-Oracle hypervisor that's supported for Oracle workloads. This enables all the license mobility for Oracle licenses when leveraging Hyper-V or Windows Azure.
