Virtualization Pro Tips Blog

The Lighter Side: In Czech, the Word for “Guest” is Actually “Host”.

With all apologies to Ben, I’m stealing this one right from Ben Armstrong’s “Virtual PC Guy” BlogTurns out that the Czech word for “guest” is actually “host”.  Yikes!  Ben and Microsoft discovered this recently as they were going through the Czech localization process for Hyper-V.

Kinda’ makes it difficult to tell the difference between what’s being virtualized and what’s doing the virtualizing!

It also makes me wonder what words Czech-speaking people are currently using to differentiate between the two.  Do you know?
