Why can't I back up the NT Event Viewer files when I'm logged in as a member of the Backup Operators group?

If you're a member of the Backup Operators group and you use Ntbackup to back up the boot partition, Ntbackup might not back up the Event Viewer (.evt) files because members of the group might not have the necessary security credentials. To resolve this problem, log on as a domain or local administrator to back up the system.
