A. If you have a printer that has its own network card and IP address, you can create a queue to the device by following the instructions below
- Login as a member of the Administrators Group
- Start Control Panel (Start - Settings - Control Panel)
- Double Click Network, and select the Services tab
- Click Add, and select "Microsoft TCP/IP printing"
- Click OK and then Close
- Click "Yes" to the reboot
- After the machine has booted up Double Click "My Computer" (or what you have named it to, you have renamed it!)
- Double click Printers, and select Add Printer
- Select the Printer is a local printer, and then continue
- Click Add Port, and select "LPR port"
- Click New Port and fill in the IP address of the printer in the top box, and a name in the bottom box
- Click OK, and ignore the error about not being able to communicate
- Click Next and then select the printer driver
- Click Next and select if you want to share it, and then click Finish
- Print and be happy
