SQL Server 2012 service pack 2 released in June of this year and brought with it some significant improvements in various areas including:
- AlwaysOn
- Analysis Services
- Integrations Services
- Relational Engine
- Replication
- Reporting Services
- Storage Engine
When a new service pack releases for SQL Server, Microsoft will generally provide a 90-day window for testing for System Center products before deeming the service pack safe to use. Yesterday, just a bit longer than the 90-day goal, SQL Server 2012 service pack 2 was proposed as ready and safe – at least for System Center Service Manager.
The service pack can be downloaded from here: SQL Server 2012 Service Pack 2
