A: System Center Service Manager (SCSM) 2010 enabled applications to be requested by users, and, once approved, sent them through a custom workflow capability so that the applications were deployed using System Center Configuration Manager.
This capability is enabled in System Center 2012 by using the Application Approval Workflow for System Center 2012, which is available from Microsoft Connect. The Solution Accelerator uses Service Manager, Orchestrator, and Configuration Manager to deliver the complete solution.
