Over a year since the original Management Pack (MP) was released (May of 2012), Microsoft has produced a comprehensive guide to the Windows Azure SQL Database Management Pack for System Center 2012. The guide covers the original MP version (1.5.4.0) and includes details about support for the most current version of Windows Server (2012) and SQL Azure (11.0.2326.0).
The MP, includes health monitoring capabilities and includes extensive knowledge and views that enable near real-time diagnosis and resolution of detected issues within the Operations Manager 2012 console.
As you've probably recognized, Microsoft is putting a lot of effort into releasing new capabilities for Windows Azure. In addition to Windows "Blue" announcements at TechEd 2013, except to hear a lot about a "blue" hue for Windows Azure and System Center.
