Q: On my multi-monitor configuration, only one of the displays is touch-enabled but when I touch the display, the touch shows on a different display. How do I fix this?
A: If you have a multi-monitor display with only one display supporting touch, it's possible that the touch configuration is wrong, and when you touch the touch-enabled display, the gesture actually shows and is actioned on a different display. To solve this, perform the following:
- Open the Control Panel.
- Start the Tablet PC Settings control panel applet.
- At the Display tab, click the Setup... button in the Configure section.
- It will blank all screens, and text on one screen will tell you to touch the screen if it's the touch screen or to press Enter to move to the next screen (or Esc to exit). Press Enter until the text is on your touch screen, then press or touch the screen.
- Your configuration is complete.
