Enbridge Pipelines Chooses Motiva’s eChange Solutions

Enbridge Pipelines, operator of the longest crude oil and petroleum products pipeline, recently deployed Motiva’s eChange Solutions to give employees Internet access, which has eliminated delays in updates from two months to two hours, reduced the cycle time of engineering changes, and let employees and contractors communicate efficiently across the extended company. eChange Solutions, which runs on SQL Server, manages and automates the relationship between design teams, customers, and supply chain partners all over the world. “We achieved immediate, quantifiable return on our investment in Motiva eChange Solutions,” said Tamara Caldwell, Enbridge’s engineering systems analyst. “Now, all field locations have Internet access to updated information, and we can communicate instantly with outside contractors.” Other eChange Solutions customers include Lockheed Martin, Pacific Gas & Electric, and British Telecom.
