I talked with Dave Campbell at the PDC about the new direction Microsoft announced with the Windows Azure Platform and cloud computing. While Azure is cloud-based Windows (next gen software plus services), the new SQL Server Services (the new name for SQL Server Data Services--which was new a short time ago)is a pillar of the Azure platform. The data pillar, of course.
