SftButton/OCX 2.0 Released
Softel announced the availability of their new version of SftButton/OCX. This button control is now available with the following new features: Help integration for Visual Studio.NET 2002, 2003, and 2005; additional syntax documentation for C#, VB.NET, and enhanced language-specific topics; additional samples for C#, VB.NET, Delphi, HTML, and Visual C++; new button style with a single-pixel border; new DropDownStyle property to define the width of the drop down button; new gradient fill properties; new properties to determine the best size for the button control, so text and images fit completely; new ShowFocus property to control the display of the focus rectangle; new BackColorHover and BackColorFocus properties; and a new LoadPicture method.
Also new to SftButton/OCX 2.0 is that the distinction between the ANSI control (for all Windows platforms) and the UNICODE control (for UNICODE applications on NT-style platforms) has been eliminated. The UNICODE OCX is now used for all environments (Windows 98 through Windows 2003 Server) with all ANSI and UNICODE applications. SftButton/OCX 2.0 supports all popular development environments, such as Visual Studio.NET, C#, VB.NET, VB6, VC++, Delphi, and more.
