Red Gate Software has released ANTS Performance Profiler 7.4, which ties code and database performance to HTTP requests. The new version of ANTS Performance Profiler lets ASP.NET developers relate poor performance in their application to specific lines of code and database requests. The solution does this by providing hit counts and timing for each piece of code and database call that lets the user see where the most time is being spent and which areas of their application need improvement.
"Developers usually have to jump between profilers to see everything that's happening in an ASP.NET application. ANTS Performance Profiler 7.4 puts a stop to that. You get everything in one place, making it much simpler and quicker to diagnose and fix problems," said Elizabeth Ayer, product manager at Red Gate Software.
ANTS Performance Profiler 7.4 supports local, remote, and cloud-based SQL Server and Oracle databases. Pricing for ANTS Performance Profiler 7.4 begins at $395 for one license. Visit Red Gate Software's product page for more information or to download a free trial.
