Quest Software Releases .NET Application Management Solutions

Quest Software Releases .NET Application Management Solutions

Quest Software launched two .NET application management solutions designed to deliver, manage, and control .NET applications. Both of the new solutions are powered by AVIcode s .NET management technology, and build on an OEM agreement Quest signed earlier this year:

  • Quest Management Pack for .NET works with Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005. Only Quest and its OEM partner provide a management pack for .NET application management.
  • Foglight for .NET, a key component of Quest s Application Advantage strategy for managing complex application environments, expands to .NET applications Quest s Foglight portfolio of monitoring and management products.

Designed to discover, diagnose, and resolve .NET application performance and availability issues, Quest Management Pack for .NET and Foglight for .NET proactively monitor applications and inform IT staff of impending performance and availability issues. The products diagnostic capabilities minimize time-to-problem resolution through tight integration with Microsoft Visual Studio to pinpoint performance issues and exceptions. Both Quest solutions generate reports summarizing availability hot spots and integrate seamlessly with existing IT environments.

The new offerings join Quest s portfolio of Microsoft infrastructure management products, and are the latest additions to Quest solutions that support MOM 2005. Quest continues to closely align with Microsoft to provide quality solutions for Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, SharePoint, and SQL Server.
