Nevron .NET Vision Q4 2007 Available

Nevron Software announced the new Q4 2007 release of Nevron .NET Vision, a data visualization component suite for Windows Forms and ASP.NET development. This release introduces Visual Studio 2008 support, major improvements in the AJAX support of the Chart and Diagram components, and new controls and functionality in the User Interface Suite.

What s New in Nevron Chart for .NET Q4 2007:

  • Nevron Chart is now compatible with SQL Server and State Server session state modes.
  • You can choose from all .NET raster image formats in AJAX mode.
  • Extended server-side interface for AJAX configuration. Now event queueing can be configured at server side.
  • Added CallbackExecuting and CallbackExecuted events for generalized handling of AJAX callbacks. The INHttpHandlerCallback interface is extended with OnCallbackExecuting and OnCallbackExecuted methods.
  • Custom command events in AJAX mode now provide a way to return custom results to the client from within custom command handlers.
  • Added image map in AJAX mode. Now mouse events interception at client side can be filtered by custom regions, defined when the Web control is initialized at the server, saving in this way bandwidth and server resources.

What s New in Nevron User Interface for .NET Q4 2007

Nevron User Interface for .NET includes a powerful new control named NTreeList. The control is based on the NTreeViewEx and extends it by adding list-view functionality. This combination allows for complex data-related tasks like grouping, sorting, binding, etc. The control appearance and functionality is highly customizable. Following are the some of the major features of the control:

  • Freezable list-view columns. You can choose some columns to be displayed regardless of how the user scrolls horizontally. This feature is useful when you need to make sure important data is always displayed.
  • Binding to a Data Table. This feature allows you to import the NTreeListData from a DataTable object, as well as to implement custom data import.
  • Extensible row filtering. You can combine several types of predefined filters to selectively display rows in the list.
  • Sorting. The controls allows you to sort by rows with the same tree depth, as well as to sort recursively (that is, sort the children of these nodes, as well).
