Mono Software Releases Mono Scheduler 2.0
Mono Software announced the 2.0 release of Mono Scheduler, an ASP.NET component that allows developers to add advanced calendaring and scheduling functionality to their applications. It integrates into existing Web applications, offering collaboration features for groupware solutions.
Mono Scheduler has been designed for use with Visual Studio.NET, but can also be used from other IDEs. Mono Scheduler can be used to manage events, meetings, deadlines, schedules, tasks, announcements, etc. Events can be published to the target audience or sent by e-mail. It supports full GUI customization, so it can be used for rapid development of various specialized applications. It also supports Access, Oracle, and other databases.
Mono Scheduler displays schedules in day, week, or month format; offers full GUI customization, so you can add any number of intrinsic or custom controls to the event view while customizing the back-end database; offers full CSS support; has full e-mail support (attachments can be uploaded in-place) via a familiar Outlook-style user interface; provides dynamic, resizable cell borders; supports overlapping events; and more.
