Karamasoft Releases UltimateSpell 3.0 for ASP.NET and UltimateEmail for ASP.NET
Karamasoft announced UltimateSpell 3.0, an ASP.NET server control that provides spell checking functionality in your Web and Windows Forms applications. In ASP.NET applications, simply drag-and-drop the control onto your page and it automatically finds and spell checks all editable controls without any client-side or server-side coding.
SpellAsYouType and AutoCorrect are the top features of this latest release. It spell checks and underlines spelling errors as you type. This inline spell-check functionality is also used to correct spelling errors automatically while you keep typing.
The new version lets you look up the meaning of a suggested word in an online dictionary that is configurable for each language. It also introduces a new property to let the user decide whether the spell button causes validation. If you click Ignore All to ignore all occurrences of a word it will keep them alive until you refresh the page.
UltimateSpell has built-in integration with UltimateEditor (online HTML editor) and UltimateSearch (Web site search engine). It supports UltimateAjax (formerly UltimateCallback) and ASP.NET AJAX (former Atlas).

Karamasoft also announced UltimateEmail, for e-mail address validation and mail merge. It includes two ASP.NET server controls that come in handy in your Web applications. However, you can use the server-side API in your Web and Windows applications instead of using the server controls.
UltimateEmailValidator control validates an e-mail address in four levels:
- Syntax: e-mail address syntax valid
- Domain: e-mail server (MX record) set
- SMTP: e-mail server up and running
- Account: e-mail server has the address
UltimateEmailMerge control provides you with the mail merge functionality to send a template e-mail to a list of people with customized delivery and content information. You can load the data from any source such as DataSet, DataTable, DataView, DataReader, Collection, Array, ArrayList, XmlDocument, a text file, or a comma-delimited string.
You can specify the number of e-mails in each batch, and the duration to wait between each batch. You can also use the event handling mechanism to validate e-mail addresses, and save mail merge and delivery status into a file or database.
UltimateEmail can be integrated with UltimateEditor to send a template e-mail to your customers with the click of a toolbar button. It comes with sample Web and Windows Forms applications in C# and VB for .NET 1.x and .NET 2.0.
