Recently, we asked Adnan to give us a little information about himself. Here's what he shared:
ITDC: Give us a brief introduction to you.
Adnan: I'm Adnan Hendricks a South African guy living in The Netherlands started my career in the early 90's as a Developer \ Trainer \ all round technical support guy and then decided to move on and focus on Microsoft Technologies as an IT Pro (Systems Engineer) and I have been doing that successfully since 1995. The same year I established my company Microspecialist Consulting.
ITDC: Describe the sessions you are presenting and why you feel the topic is important.
Adnan: My sessions cover common challenges It pro's face when needing to implement Office365 (pro plus) Microsoft's biggest seller this moment and Windows 10. These 2 technologies are already widely used worldwide and will be increasing its market share of use over time.
ITDC: What should attendees expect to be able to take away from your sessions?
Adnan: To keep this answer short as there's so much value in what they will be experiencing in my sessions. The ability to immediately do some awesomeness when they get back to the office the week after in their POC environments or management plans for both Office365 pro plus or their Windows 10 environments.
ITDC: What is your primary reason to be excited about IT/Dev Connections?
Adnan: It's an awesome conference where you get really close to attendees and have a user group closeness feel to the entire conference instead of being lost in the crowds besides its in Vegas :) so we as speakers can make it a bit more entertaining for attendees all learning should be fun.
ITDC: What is the one key technology you believe is changing the technology industry right now?
Adnan: Azure The Microsoft Cloud! Just so much you can do with it and it is increasing exponentially it's amazing. Nowadays all you need as a company to have a really good IT infrastructure is a computer with internet access and build the rest in Azure.
ITDC: Assuming attendees want to know, what’s your favorite, non-technical hobby or pastime? What’s one thing that totally irks you.
Adnan: As someone with a bit of an obsessive compulsive way of living it’s hard to limit this to a single hobby or pastime being born in Africa I find that I need to be spending time in nature as much as possible walks and hikes up mountains everything in and around water sailing, swimming, diving also food... I love cooking and eating. I would sometimes just jump on a plane and fly to France for some French food or Tuscany my favorite part of Italy for some Italian.
