GrapeCity-Data Dynamics launches ActiveReports 6 Beta

GrapeCity-Data Dynamics today announced that ActiveReports 6 beta, the latest version of the ActiveReports .NET reporting tool, is now available for download on the Grape City-Data Dynamics website. The Standard Edition of the tool features new Report Designer enhancements that the vendor says make it even easier to design reports.

New Designer features include cross-section controls, snap lines, inline text editing, support for repetition patterns, image annotations, and a number of text and label enhancements. The new version also features new barcode control support for Reduced Space Symbology (RSS) barcodes and external stylesheets for sharing look and feel between reports.

The Professional Edition of ActiveReports 6 has more features, including:

         A first-time Flash-based report viewer

         Advanced PDF reporting features, such as support for Adobe's digital signatures and version timestamps

         Redistributable Help for the End User Report Designer for Windows

         Toolstrip controls for the End User Report Designer for Windows
