Aha-soft Releases IconPilot 2.0b
IconPilot 2.0b for Windows from Aha-soft is the final beta version for creating and editing Windows icons and cursors. IconPilot enables professional and amateur artists to design and edit icons, static and animated cursors, splash screens, and interface elements.
The most significant new feature in this version is support for Windows cursors. IconPilot also includes the ability to import icons from executables, images, and library files, and the search and extract function enables users to scan through the contents of a folder or a drive and arrange all images found into a single icon library for easy and effective management.
IconPilot includes airbrushes, pencils, and paintbrushes, as well as miscellaneous text, line, and shape tools. IconPilot also offers solid, patterned, and gradient flood fills, drop shadow, smooth, color modification, and other effects. The native support for the Windows XP icon format enables artists to create 32-bit icons with an 8-bit alpha channel. IconPilot 2.0b also features the ability to apply effects to multiple images in the icon collection.
Other new features in IconPilot 2.0b include support for large images, the ability to export and import transparent PNG images, the ability to export all images from a library to a single 32-bit image, and an improved interface.
