9Rays.Net announced OLAP ModelKit, an OLAP component designed for the .NET Framework that provides interactive data processing and analysis systems.
OLAP ModelKit allows developers to embed the OLAP technology in any Windows applications based on relational data. The embedded product will allow end users to interact with huge databases, summarizing and exploring data. OLAP ModelKit enables users to view any amount of data in any way considered to be suitable, as well as to perform interactive analysis of any type and quality using any selected capabilities, such as data filtering, drilling down, rolling up, dimensional pivoting, or ranking.
OLAP ModelKit has an XP Themed appearance, is written in fully managed code, and can present data using any third-party chart components.
OLAP ModelKit is compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0, and is available with two royalty-free licensing options: Standard Edition and Source Code Edition. A fully functional evaluation version is available as a free download.
