SharePoint Fest Provides Practical Views, How-To's and News

Sessions at SharePoint Fest-Seattle are designed for SharePoint administrators, software developers, information architects and knowledge workers alike.

There are many SharePoint events across the country, but one of the most important is SharePoint Fest. This is perhaps more true now than ever, as companies are challenged not only to make the most effective use of Microsoft SharePoint, but also to find the right balance of cloud and on-premise on which to run the Microsoft platform.

Sessions at SharePoint Fest-Seattle are designed for SharePoint administrators, software developers, information architects and knowledge workers alike. The conference, which is set to take place Aug. 18-20, will cover all aspects of SharePoint, with sessions presented by Microsoft Certified Trainers, Microsoft Engineers, and Microsoft MVPs and MCMs.

Among the many speakers providing expert insight at the conference are:

Bill Baer, Senior Technical Product Manager: Baer is a Senior Technical Product Manager and Microsoft Certified Master for SharePoint in the SharePoint product group. Baer has a proven background in infrastructure engineering and enterprise deployments of SharePoint Products and Technologies.

Mark Kashman, Senior Product Manager: Kashman is a Senior Product Manager on the SharePoint team, focusing primarily on SharePoint Online and NextGen Portals.


Jeremy Thake, Senior Product Marketing Manager: Thake is a Technical Product Manager at Microsoft in the team responsible for the developer story for Office 365 development.


Tamara Bredemus, Collaboration Architect: Bredemus is the Senior Collaboration Architect with The City of Minneapolis. Tamara heads up the collaboration team as they build solutions on various platforms for many audiences.

Christian Buckley, MVP Author: Buckley is an Office 365 MVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Beezy, an enterprise collaboration ISV that integrates social across SharePoint, Office 365 and Yammer.

Michelle Caldwell, MVP PMP: Caldwell is a SharePoint Solutions Architect and Director of Collaboration at Avanade. She is a Microsoft SharePoint MVP and has more than 16 years of experience delivering business solutions to diverse organizations.

Vlad Catrinescu, MVP: Catrinescu is a SharePoint Consultant with more than five years in IT, specializing in analyzing and deploying SharePoint Infrastructure.

Liam Cleary, MVP: Cleary is a Solution Architect for Protiviti. His core focus is to ensure that SharePoint can either natively or with minimal customization meet business requirements. He is an eight-time SharePoint MVP focusing on Architecture, but also crosses the boundary into Development.
