SharePoint 2016 Preview: The Countdown Continues

SharePoint 2016 Preview: The Countdown Continues

Microsoft has basically seven days (eight, if you count the 31st) to get the Preview out the door and into the very eager hands of SharePoint stakeholders of all stripes.

At SharePoint Fest Seattle last week, Microsoft's Bill Baer assured the crowd gathered for  his keynote that the SharePoint 2016 was coming. As promised. In August. And, yes, Microsoft is well aware of how many days are left in August.

That was then, this is now: Aug. 24. Not that we're counting, but that means Microsoft has basically seven days (eight, if you count the 31st) to get the Preview out the door and into the very eager hands of SharePoint stakeholders of all stripes.

Can Microsoft do it? What are your plans for the Preview once it is released? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. And, speaking of sharing your thoughts, if you would be interested in sharing your thoughts about the Preview as you test it with the rest of the SharePoint Pro audience, please let me know. We'll be publishing our own reviews, of course, but we're looking to do a crowd-sourced evaluation. Write me at [email protected] if you'd like to take part.
