As a top-requested suggestion from the development community, Microsoft has recently announced the preview availability of the Visual Studio Installer Projects extension. Now users have support for Visual Studio Installer projects in Visual Studio 2013.

With this release, users will now have the same functionality with Visual Studio Installer projects that they have in Visual Studio 2010. The extension lets users who aren't using Visual Studio Installer projects to have InstallShield Limited Edition (ISLE) as their preferred installer project solution.
