How's your week shaping up? Me, I’m shepherding a SharePoint and Business Intelligence article through the editing process so the technical editor can review it.
It’s by Serge Luca and Isabelle Van Campenhoudt, SharePoint and SQL Server MVPs, respectively. Can't wait to publish it on the site!

Before jumping in to blogging, I’ll check the SharePoint Pro home page where the SharePoint event calendar lives in a block in the center rail.
My question: Is the date for IT/Dev Connections (aka “SharePoint Connections”) actually displaying correctly?
The calendar block's HTML code and table format are not supposed to be a challenge. In theory.
Later in the week, I'll be pulled into content meetings and calls as the team looks at upcoming Q3 e-learning seminars for SharePoint.
And there'll be the usual meetings on the fly (do you miss them when you work from home?) as other web content managers stop by my desk or holler for me to come over and look at something.
I’ll probably have some email messages to read from this fast-talking guy who works out of our New York City headquarters—Joe Panettieri—who founded the Var Guy and Talkin Cloud. Personally, I don't think he ever sleeps.
And industry research to do! This week, I'm curious about several SharePoint vendors--K2, Esri, and Kapow Software come to mind. I don't know what they're currently doing, and I’d like to learn more.
I’m also meeting with Megan Keller and SharePoint MVP Scot Hillier to look at what’s brewing for IT/Dev Connections and the SharePoint track for 2014. Last year, the Q/A panel was a highlight for me—seven SharePoint experts up on a stage answering questions about SharePoint issues. And I thought MY job was difficult!
I think that got us to Wednesday. Oh well. What's on your agenda this week?
