First PowerShell Module for SharePoint Online Released

If you thought Microsoft had already gone too with PowerShell integration for its products, then you'll probably be surprised to learn that there's still a few areas where PowerShell is still missing.

Microsoft has recently made available a new set of PowerShell cmdlets as part of a module that brings subscription management for SharePoint Online for Office 365 administrators.

Available from the Microsoft Download Center, the module requires PowerShell 3.0 and runs on Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1, Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2, and Windows Server 2012.

You can find it here: SharePoint Online Management Shell
