SharePoint Links I Like: Star Date 07102013 Wednesday

This week was the Microsoft World Partner Conference. ...Well, okay. Perhaps it's easier for others to get fired up by that. But what's more exciting are these SharePoint links, proof positive that the SharePoint community is alive and kicking and SharePoint is still a force to be reckoned with. Use that SharePoint power for good, not evil, my friends.

What is a SharePoint Administrator?
It's a vendor blog, yes, but an interesting post that gives you one very clear way to look at SharePoint admins.

It really is all over for SharePoint at Microsoft
Chris Wright's blog post was one of the most retweeted posts recently on Twitter. Although its title promises more, the post itself attempts to read the tea leaves of Microsoft slides at the World Partner Conference currently ongoing and offers a twee-ish conclusion. SharePoint's Navigation Struggles - A Bit of History
A nice overview by Chris Givens of SharePoint navigation in 2007, 2010, and 2013.

Introducing the Microsoft Office Interactive Content Pivot
Not for the color blind--Microsoft's SharePoint IT Pro blog tells you how to get started using the Interactive Content Pivot to find articles on SharePoint, Project Server, and Office 365. Useful and cool, if not fabulously decorative.
