WSUS Available, Microsoft Update Now Live, MBSA 2.0 On The Way

Have you been waiting for the final release of Windows Server Update Services? Wondering when the new Microsoft Update site will go live? The answer is, today.

Microsoft announced that the release version of
WSUS is now available and that the new Microsoft Update site is now live too. Microsoft Update supports Windows XP, Windows 2000 with SP3 or later, Office XP or later, Windows Server 2003, Exchange Server 2000 or later, SQL Server 2000 with SP4 or later.

As for the eventual release of Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer 2.0, the beta testing period is scheduled to close on June 10 and the formal release is scheduled for in mid-July.
