When you run, or open, a query, the query takes your requests and produces appropriate data in a dynaset, or dynamic subset of your data. The dynaset looks a lot like a table’s datasheet—the only difference is that it can show fields from more than one table, and its data may be filtered and sorted differently than the underlying table(s).
- When you make changes to a query’s dynaset, those changes are placed into the appropriate fields and records in the underlying tables.
- When you delete a record from a dynaset, any corresponding records are deleted from the underlying tables.
