Intruder Stole New Shuttle Design Plans from NASA

According to a Computerworld report, an intruder known as RaFa has broken into a network that NASA operates and stolen extremely sensitive design plans for the Space Shuttle. Using a vulnerability in FTP servers that allow anonymous logins, RaFa managed to locate and download more than 43MB of data, including a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. The PowerPoint data included design information for the COBRA engine design program along with information regarding NASA's next-generation ground control system for the Space Shuttle. RaFa uploaded documents to a Web site and then alerted Computerworld to the site address as proof of his break-in.
