Firefox 2.0.0.2 Released - Finally!

Mozilla Foundation released Firefox 2.0.0.2, and many security bugs were fixed, along with other annoying problems.

You can view a list of security issues that were corrected at Mozilla's site.

At least one major annoyance that plagued my desktop seems to have been fixed also. Some time back I wrote in this blog space about how the browser would freeze and not process any URL requests. Restarting Firefox was the only solution I could find. The symptoms occured when there were pages with content being pulled from other sites, including some that required SSL connections. One example is when a page had to pull ad content from Google over SSL.

I'm glad that problem is fixed because I was growing incredibly tired of having to restart the browser. You
