Another Firefox Update Available

Less than two weeks after the release of Firefox 2.0.0.5 Mozilla released version 2.0.0.6, quickly fixing two more security problems. How's that for a fast turnaround?

The latest fixes correct a problem where un-escaped URIs passed to external programs can lead to an intruder launching locally installed applications, and another problem where intruders might be able to launch a privilege escalation attack using about:blank windows. You can read the details at Mozilla's security advisory page for Firefox
