UK-based Reflex Magnetics announced today that it's offering its new ScreenMail plugin for Outlook free of charge to charitable organizations. The plugin works on Outlook Express 5.0 through 6.0 and Outlook 97 through 2002.
ScreenMail protects against viruses, ActiveX controls, Java, HTML Scripting, and certain HTML elements such as IFRAME tags. In addition, the plugin can scan both digitally-signed and encrypted messages and can warn users if a message contains file attachments so that users don't open the attachments inadvertently.
