As IT Pros many of us are called to provide training and assistance to our users across many different areas of the technology that our companies use each day.
Since Microsoft Office is one of the most popular software suites for productivity, it stands to reason a lot of questions come up about its different programs.
Many people have used Office for years and still only scratched the surface when it comes to features and capabilities. One expansion of Office has been the addition of an Office Store for add-ins that make additional functionality available. A lot of these add-ins are available at no cost so my plan is to begin highlighting some of these add-ins that might be of value to you and the users in your company or organization.
The first one I have selected is Pickit Free Images.
If you have ever dealt with the need to license or have permissions to use images then this add-in for PowerPoint and Word is going to become your new favorite for a couple of reasons.
First - no licenses, no permissions. All of the images in Pickit are free to use in presentations, documents and blogs.
Second - these are not your standard stock images. They cover a broad spectrum of subjects, styles, and give you much more than those posed photos that are so prevalent in current offerings.
