JSI Tip 7860. How can I force Internet Explorer 6.0 to refresh a page on Every visit to the page or Every time you start Internet Explorer?

These settings are available at the Internet Explorer Tools / Internet Options / Temporary Internet files / Settings button.

To configure this setting using the registry:

1. Use the Registry Editor to navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings.

2. Edit the SyncMode5 Value Name, a REG_DWORD data type, and set the data value to one of the following:

        0: Never.

2: Every time you start Internet Explorer.

3: Every visit to the page.

        4: Automatically (the default).
