JSI Tip 3423. When you install Office 2000 on Windows NT 4.0, the Internet Explorer setup fails silently?

When the subject condition happens, Internet Explorer 5.0 is either not installed or incompletely installed.

To resolve the issue:

1. Start / Run.

2. Browse the Office 2000 CD-ROM and double-click \Ie5\en\Ie5setup.exe.

3. Follow the on-screen instructions.
