Melissa Data Announces MatchUp Component

Melissa Data has announced the availability of its MatchUp Component for SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The solution finds and eliminates duplicate database records without requiring additional programming or development time. MatchUp lets users eliminate duplicate data through specified and customizable criteria, including search combinations using more than 35 different components such as address, company, or Social Security number.

Access Data Easily with DbSchema Relational Data Browse

Wise Coders Solutions' universal database tool, DbSchema, provides DBAs with a number of features to make SQL Server management easier. The tool provides a Relational Data Browse capability that lets the user browse data from multiple database tables. In addition, DbSchema features a SQL Editor that makes it possible to quickly edit and execute SQL queries and scripts, and a Query Builder that lets DBAs graphically create complex queries.

MobiForms Adds iOS Support for MobiForms Sync Server

MobiForms has announced that it now offers iOS support for MobiForms Sync Server, a tool that enables bi-directional data replication, synchronization, and online buffering between any database server, ERP package, and a variety of mobile platforms including Windows Mobile and Google Android smartphones and tablets. Supported database servers include SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft Access, Sybase, IBM DB2, SQLite, MySQL, and more. MobiForms Sync Server is a part of MobiForms Advanced Edition and includes MobiForms Developer.

Red Gate Offers SQL Server Webinar

Red Gate is offering a free two-part webinar series on how to seamlessly source-control and deploy SQL Server databases. Part one of the series will focus on how to version-control database development using an existing source-control system in SQL Server Management Studio. Part two will focus on repeatable and accurate deployment without fear of data loss. The series takes place on March 1 and March 8, March 15 and March 22, and March 29 and April 5.

Sanbolic Releases AppCluster 2.0

Sanbolic has announced the release of AppCluster 2.0, a SQL Server module that extends workloads across physical, virtualized, and cloud environments. New enhancements include live data migration within physical and virtual environments and the ability to automatically or directly manage distribution of workloads across physical and virtual storage assets. In addition, AppCluster features several SQL Server capabilities such as hardware abstraction, virtualization, active-active clustering and failover, and centralized data management and workflow functionalities.
