From the Community: Finding the Import and Export Wizard

Q: In last week’s article (“Importing and Exporting Data,” InstantDoc ID 95654, ), you mentioned that we should be able to find the Import and Export wizard in SQL Server 2005 Express Edition at C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\90\DTS\Binn. I looked for it there and could not locate it. I didn’t even have a directory ...\DTS\binn. I have SQL Server Express SP2 installed, but your article indicated the wizard was included in SQL Server Express SP1. I checked there as well and couldn’t locate it. Do you know where I can find it?
A: If you can’t find the Import and Export Wizard (Dtswizard.exe) on your SQL Server Express system, try downloading the SQL Server Express Toolkit SP2 from:

While installing the toolkit, be sure to select the Business Intelligence Development Studio option.
