Agilent Technologies and Hewlett-Packard (HP) have selected Aelita Software Corporation’s Domain Migration Wizard to help migrate 42,000 Agilent users worldwide from the HP network to Windows 2000 (Win2K). Domain Migration Wizard, a database-centric application for Win2K migration and domain reconfiguration, uses smart directory-handling algorithms and parallel distributed processing of network resources to achieve performance and scalability independent of network size and complexity. It includes pre-and post-processing customization and automation options and SIDhistory Cleanup technology to ensure Active Directory integrity. “Our customers seek solutions that make network restructuring and Windows 2000 Active Directory deployment easier and dramatically reduce administrative costs,” says Ratmir Timashev, Aelita Software president and CEO. “Agilent and HP’s decision reinforces the need for our innovative solutions.”
