Have you ever wished that you could have truly robust support for automatic booking of resources, such as conference rooms and video projectors? A free third-party package, exchangecode's AutoAccept Utilities (available for download from http://www.exchangecode.com), offers this type of support and plenty more. Strictly speaking, the product isn't a public-folder solution, but it does involve public-folder use, so I claim artistic license to include it here. The basic idea is that you configure a mailbox for each resource that you want to be able to book, then use the AutoAccept Wizard to configure the settings you want to apply to that resource, such as how the resource handles conflicting requests. The process is simple, and after you start using the script you'll wonder how you got along without it.
