The folks over at Hortonworks have announced today that the latest Hadoop implementation for Windows has now released and is available for download.
Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP) is a 100% open source solution for Apache Hadoop running on Microsoft's Windows platforms such as Windows Server (Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2012) and Windows Azure. Apache Hadoop is the open source framework for Big Data storage and large scale data processing.
