Microsoft hasn't officially made any announcements yet, however according to Neowin.net Microsoft has released a beta version of its forthcoming Security Rollup Package 1 (SRP1) for Windows XP.
Neowin.net had posted a link where users could download a copy of SRP1 beta from Microsoft's Betaplace Web site but Microsoft quickly requested that the link be removed. The release version of security rollup package is expected to contain more than 20 security patches for Windows XP that are currently available individually.
Neowin.net also printed a copy of a Microsoft memo earlier this week, which reveals that Microsoft plans to released its SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services to beta in October. Users can register for the SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services beta at Microsoft's Web site.
