Wireless Internet Is Hot

According to a recent survey from the Pew Internet and American Life Project, one in six Internet users in the United States has used Wi-Fi or related wireless technology to log on. Wireless hotspots are popping up all over the country, from airports to restaurants to cafes. The study also found that nearly 75 percent of US adults use computers, and 63 percent use the Internet. People who log on are also doing so more frequently, with more than half of those who use the Internet logging on daily. Popular Internet destinations include online auctions (used by 25 percent) and online shopping (used by 65 percent). Maybe this whole Internet thing has promise after all
