When you use the built-in backup of Windows Server 2003 to backup to a removable drive, like a USB drive, or a SATA drive, you sometimes receive An inconsistency was encountered in the requested backup file.

This behavior may occur when you run multiple backup jobs that use the same removable drive at the same time.

To workaround this behavior, run the backup jobs serially, or use different backup devices.
