Using the Go To command

An efficient way to navigate documents is to use the Go To command.

  1. Choose Edit → Go To.

    Other shortcuts to Go To:

    • Ctrl+G
    • Double-click the page number in the status bar

  2. The Go To tab of the Find and Replace dialog box allows you to select what you want to "go to" (a page number, section, bookmark, heading, or other target). Make a selection in the Go to what list, then specify your target in the right-hand side of the dialog box.

  3. Click Go To.

  • Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
